High service pump station

The city of Wichita's Aquifer Storage and Recovery (ASR) program is currently in Phase II of four Phases of construction. The high service pump station is a major component of Phase II.

The high service pump station will pump clean water from the clearwell into the ASR pipeline network, to be recharged into the Equus Beds aquifer. The pump station will have two pumps, each with a pumping capacity of 15 million gallons per day, for a total capacity of 30 million gallons daily that can be returned to the Equus Beds aquifer.
